Good points, Jim. In studying the Revolutionary War during the 1770's, we find America split into three equal in size, but diverse groups of Colonists.
Loyalists - They were loyal to King George and England.
Pacifists - This group of people were fine with the Status-quo.
Patriots - They opposed tyranny, increased taxes, government abuse and loss of liberty.
