40grs of IMR4198 under a 200gr Hornady bullet gets 2450 from my Hawkeye stainless and groups well under 1". It worked quite well on a doe this past hunting season. Blew pieces of bone on lung out in a nice fan shape when hit at 15'.
I personally don't see the need for shooting barnes bullets out of the 358win. It doesn't push anything fast enough to stress the bullets and with the high velocity need to expand the barnes, you start having the bullets pencil thru the game at longer ranges. I was going to use 130gr TTSX in my 308, but 1900-2000fpas minimum velocities made it iffy out at longer ranges.
