Nothing wrong with "American" beer....its far better and more predictable than a town with a ditch or a cistern.....
Just as with water, you can add one part of a good IPA (or APA) to three or four parts of American beer and you have made something that has flavor.
Water is cheaper, but American swill adds fizz.
