After pics of the Rem M 700 .375 RUM.

It now has scope and iron sights.

As is with Leupold M-8 3x scope and all,it weighs 7lbs 12ozs.

It has Weaver bases and Leupold QRW (Quick Release Weaver) rings.

It possible..but they are relatively fragile anyway...bump them on a rock, or a truck gun rack etc.

The iron sights are loc-tited in. The others are hand tight.

Yup,buffalo,lioness and elephant. If'n I don't buy a .416 Rem/Dakota/Taylor/Rigby. whistle

Hunt something smaller. grin

Not sure which would hurt less, pulling the trigger on that, or a bovine stomping. I've experienced the bovine stomping but will not experience a 375 RUM.

Seems like it's been running 2-3 deaths per year that I am aware of but there are no doubt more that are not publicized as much because they are folks who are not tourists or prominent in the hunting industry.
When some of the locals get stomped the news doesn't travel far because it is a common occurrence.


I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.
