I also envy those who can do that type thing. I have zero mechanical ability.

Well, got a couple of days off, so decided to get to it on the Jeep....actually, starting to look like a Jeep!

Got the fuel tank flushed and installed, fuel tank skid plat on, and mounted the new rear bumper and tire carrier.

Rolled it out and used some straps to lift the body and roll the chassis under it. (Gotta love steel buildings!)

The body is just setting on the frame, have to get new bolts to anchor it down. Should get that done tomorrow, then it is onto the steering.

Ran into a problem with mounting the body. On my new rear cross member, I measured the holes wrong. mad

So had to lift the body again and drill the holes in the correct place and got the body all squared up on the frame.

Got the tub secured and installed my tail lights and back up lights. Also, had my headers machined to square the face.

Waiting on a guy to get back from vacation so we can mount the power steering box, new front shock mounts and re-gear the rear end.

Pulled "Sour Apple" out and down to shop. Going to weld on the PS bracket, new shock brackets and get the rear end gearing changed.

Well, got some important stuff done yesterday! Thanks to Troy from Troy's Offroad.

Got the steering box mounted, spring shackles reversed, shock mounts removed, new mounts welded on, tie rod swap kit. Now I'm just waiting on the new gears for the rear end, should be in Tuesday along with the 1.5" wheel spacers. Will install on Saturday.

Now to find a steering column....
