Ok, starting to get somewhere now! Got the new ring and pinion in yesterday. I'm now 4:56 in the rear to match the Dana 30 I put in. Added a G2 cover to replace the thin stamped metal on the 44.

It is a Locca locker in the rear and a power locker in the front.

Gonna have to do some cutting on the grill to fit the p/s box but shouldn't be too bad.

One should have been paid to take that off their hands. I'd be inclined to lift the radiator cap and just put a new rig under it.

I like working/tinkering with stuff. Just not my stuff.

Thanks, Dave.

Got a little bit more mocked up. Radiator, passenger side headers....

My big issue is going to be getting the right hose combination, since I have an aftermarket radiator.

sactoller, way cool ride you've got going there for something you just wanted to use on the lease!

Based on your first post you must have really needed some "punishing" shocked

If I was you I think I might have stopped after you and dad got it running. However, I'm glad you continued and decided to share the events with us.

Thanks
Geno

PS way cool dog too!

Ok, "Sour Apple" update...

It has been a little slow going, with a promotion at work and trying to square away a messed up department.

Parts are coming in slowly, done some mock up for the steering, waiting on a universal and a column mount for the new tilt column. Once I get the steering mounted and set, it is onto the wiring. eek

Been doing some little stuff while waiting on parts. I still have to decide with gauges I'm going to go with.
