Gotta love how the Feds used staties to do their dirty work.

This should be just the first leak in the dike. That was not a righteous shoot.

I went out to Burns to see it all first hand on what was going on....

The road north on US 395 was blocked off all the next day...

The entire town had so many cops from all sorts of agencies and from bordering counties....

Burns was like an occupied city, out of the movies... Reminded me on the Commies occupying the
town in that movie Red Dawn...with Patrick Swazey & Charlie Sheen.

I also saw the convoys going out Rt 205 down to the Refuge Location south of town, with all sort of
military equipment, vehicles, armored personnel carriers... full military operation...

it was pretty obvious, someone much higher in the Federal Government wanted the entire event over.

and it was pretty obvious that a lot of the Feds were itching to shoot someone...

They were busy ordering everyone around, like it was the first day of basic training and they were all
drill Sgts...Its like that they were motivated and thrilled as hell to be there... and were ready to kick
someone's ass... and it didn't matter who or what for.

What I saw out there, it is no question in my mind, Finicum and Bundy were going up to Grant County
to speak and meet with officials in John Day....that they were Ambushed, to where the Feds had road blocks
set up....the Feds shot first and they were out to kill someone, to sacrifice as to show that they were bad asses
and meant business......

Saw that all over the town of Burns watching these guys...I just happened to go out there, the night they shot Finicum and
the day they went out and surrounded the Protestors out at the Refuge.. which is 60 miles south of town...

LF refusing to comply with the first attempted felony arrest road stop and then
moving about after exiting the vehicle instead of just face down in the snow,
what was the crazy mormon thinking?

On Jan 6th he told media he would rather choose death over surrender, right or wrong

Ammon Bundy, Ryan Bundy, Bryan Cavalier, Shawna Cox and Ryan Payne had the brains
to comply with the first felony arrest vehicle stop.

"The episode was captured on FBI aerial surveillance video. Two days after the shooting, FBI officials released a 26-minute segment of the video to quell rumors about how Finicum died. But the video continues for another hour, law enforcement sources said, capturing the subsequent actions of the FBI agents.

The police reports show that investigators, who saw the full FBI video the day after the shooting, suspected something was amiss. They searched two FBI pickups used at the roadblock, looking for bullet casings, according to a detective's report. They didn't find any.

In the days following, detectives asked at least three state troopers what bullet casings they had seen after the shooting and whether they had seen anyone pick them up.

One trooper - identified only as Officer 5 - told investigators that he saw two rifle casings in the area of the roadblock. He described them both as copper-colored.

An investigator asked him, according to the interview transcript: "Did you happen to see anybody, um, picking anything up? Like, specifically, the rifle brass?"

The trooper responded: "No."

The color of the casings could be a crucial detail. Troopers use state-issued ammunition that comes in silver-colored casings."

"Police reports document that detectives didn't arrive at the roadblock to collect evidence until just before 7 p.m. on the day of the shooting. That was nearly 90 minutes after the FBI video showed the agents looking around where they had been posted. Evidence logs don't list any copper casings found at the scene.

Forensic specialists from the Oregon State Police conducted a ballistic trajectory analysis to determine the path of the bullet. Their calculations produced an estimate that traced the path back toward where two FBI agents were standing at the time the shot was fired. They pinned down that instant by synchronizing the moment when the Cox video recorded the round striking the truck with the overhead FBI video showing the location of all the officers.

The investigators last week released an image of the trajectory cone for the hole in the truck roof. The Oregonian/OregonLive independently applied that cone to the FBI's overhead video and the Cox video at the time the shot struck the roof. The resulting image placed one FBI agent in the trajectory roughly 15 feet from Finicum's pickup.

Investigators, using precise measurements of vehicle locations and law enforcement positions, concluded that the first agent was the one who fired into Finicum's roof."

does anyone honestly think the 'truth' will ever come out? Every video is suspect, every 'testimony' is suspect. Were the truth to be revealed, would anyone believe it?

The truth is that this shooting was nothing more than a tactical ambush setup by and executed by the FBI and state to end the protest, with the cost of such operation being totally on the protestor's side, and no cost or loss of life to those ending the protest. You can't fight City Hall, and Obama was out to prove it, and make a statement. Especially after they had to pull their horns in, and retreat in AZ.

It was making Obama look bad.

We didn't see these types of ambush operations with the "Occupy" protestors. Or with the "Pipeline" protestors. Or with the paid, violent protestors at Trump rallies.

This was partisan politics, plain and simple. And as with other Federale alphabet agencies, they were mobilized to harm U.S. citizens by the Obama Administration.

Much ado about nothing. The agent didn't hit anyone. The crime is solely over the issue of not coming forward, and that is a justified expectation.

"The folks at "Occupy" and "Pipeline" were not armed. Comparing is apples and pineapples. Take over Federal property with guns and throw out plenty of "if you are coming for me you best bring your guns" type quotes and act surprised when .gov takes you up on it is, well just plain stupid.

Very, very wrong! He did not hit anyone, but obviously shot first causing Finicum to go into defense mode. The shots were not justified and he lied to cover them and destroyed evidence by picking up his brass and not admitting he had done so.

He in large part caused Finicum's death.

Finicum caused his own death. Had he stayed home he would be alive. Had he followed commands like everyone else in the rig he would still be alive.

Please explain this:

Quote
BISMARCK -- A federal judge has given Red Fawn Fallis permission to move from a jail in Rugby to a halfway house.

U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland ordered on Tuesday that Fallis be released as soon as space is available at Centre Inc. in Fargo. Hovland had previously denied a similar request for Fallis, who is accused of shooting at police officers during a Dakota Access Pipeline protest on Oct. 27.

In his order, Hovland cited Fallis' successful completion of a furlough to attend a memorial service in Colorado for her mother and the need for easier communication with her attorney, Bruce Ellison, of Rapid City, S.D.

U.S. Attorney David Hagler had opposed the request, saying she remained a danger to the community and a flight risk.

Finicum, nor any other person there ever threatened, nor pointed any weapon at all at anyone. Let alone any law enforcement.

But, nice try.

You don't have to blame Harry Reid if you don't want to; maybe you can get a red light and siren for your volvo.

You did read this right?

The Republic Broadcasting Network said Sen. Reid was behind the use of force to take away Bundy’s land and sell it to the Chinese. There is nothing accurate about this claim. The dispute involved Bundy’s long use of federal land without a permit. The land gained protected status long before solar energy projects were on the table. The Chinese solar energy proposal no longer exists. The land where such projects might be developed are far from Bundy’s property. We rate this claim Pants on Fire.
