We kept a Yorkshire boar for about six years for breeding. He was over 650 when we sold him. Way less than three feet tall at the shoulder, but he was about 8 feet long from nose to tail. That critter hanging looks more massive than my Yorkshire boar. Last year we raised four pigs to butcher. At butcher their weights ranged from 325 to 365. They were not half as big as that hog hanging. An eight foot long hog is not twice as big as a four foot long hog. And it's not four times as big. More like eight times as heavy. People who choose to brew up their own storms bitch loudest about the rain.
