I was hoping a campfire historian would come along as soon as Jeff denied the PTSD thing. Knew it was in one of the pothead threads and really did not want to dig it up. Had forgotten the car accident part though. But I KNOW there was also something about a ladder. Extra points for exposing the real news. A partial box of bullets (of my choice) to the first that can link the origins of the now denied ladder reference. I know its out there as sure as Jeff's discussion of edibles or his promise to stay out of politics.

Being a liberal and a gun guy (which unlike most of your cohorts here I do give you credit for) how do you feel about common sense gun laws, like taking away weapons from certain individuals, such as those suffering from PTSD? Just wanted to share a cool story. I logged on for the first time in FOREVER just to bust your balls about lying about the whole PTSD thing. Turns out balls had already been busted while I was at work...no biggie. So then I check my PM's also in the first time in FOREVER and it turns out my stock from McMillan is ready!!!
You are like some type of totem or good luck charm. When Trump got elected you predicted gloom in the stock market. I got the checkbook out and bought more. Turned out great. I don't really doubt the Mueller will go after Trump's family, friends, associates, or anyone else he can to ruin Trump and force him from office.
We are just seeing the low hanging fruit being picked now.
This is all building up to a crescendo.
They are once again weaponizing agencies against our own.
Their only real crime is daring to try and drain the swamp and put our country first.
Mueller and the Swamp want to make an example of Trump, his family, his associates and friends so that this is never tried again, and the Swamp can retain control from now on.

I can also say conclusively that marijuana helped considerably to lower my baseline anxiety and tendency to jump out of my [bleep] skin at sudden noises and so on. Until you've had a full-on prickly sweat weak-knees fight/flight reaction to a dog barking or car door closing or kid yelling you can't really imagine how awful and relentlessly exhausting it is. Hope dies. Love fades. Appetite wanes. It's ugly.
I don't personally feel that medical efficacy is necessary to argue for legality. Ain't one thing wrong with a grown man catching a recreational buzz. That said, the medical properties of this plant- which extend far beyond treating PTSD- are certainly an enormous bonus at a bare minimum.
If a person believes in freedom and individual responsibility, they believe weed should be legal. Period. And the converse is true. If you believe people should be in legal jeopardy for using this substance- that the government can rightfully take their freedom over it- than you do not actually believe in freedom. Just to make things clear "The Accident" was a car accident. You need to learn what Character is Jeff Obama.
