Better shape than mine and it's not going anywhere except with my oldest son.
Or one of my favorite members here on the Savage forum. He knows who he is.......
Sorry about price, as I haven't seen one for a while. I will take a stab at it though and say $1500-$1700?

I paid lots more than that for the one I have. I also have a pre mil F in .358 that I paid more than that for. The market for lesser quality guns may be soft, but if I see something nice I'll dig deep for certain. Here's my .358 EG the way in came. The Leupold Vari-X III 2.5-8X and case colored Leupold base and rings were a bonus .

358? Can't read it.. could be 308 or 243.
Very nice though! I've got one in 358, that one's nicer.

LBK is probably the best measure of market value for this, but I'd say $2000 would be an easy reach these days for one in such good shape.

$2000? I'm not saying that's not a good price or what it's worth, but I think I'm missing something. Is that because of the scarceness of an EG chambered in .358?

Does a 358 W savage 99 out perform a Marlin 336 in 35 Remington?

The 358 that sold on GunBroker was back on there today. I don’t know if sale fell through or what, so I bought it for 1500.00. It looks new, it’s a 99F made in 1956. I will post some pics when I get my hands on it.
