Well, when you consider the "average guy on the street", has a median income of 50K or less, watches "wrestling", reality shows, dresses for dinner with a pocket T shirt, votes mostly democrat, yeah, they're stupid enough to think the president caved...
He couldn't stick to his guns. He owned the shutdown by his own very public admissions. The length of the shut down went past the breaking point and he had to give in. There was no way to spin it any other way and Piglosi knew that. She had the power since Trump took ownership.....and the blame. My bet is he will get done his term without his wall.
All we have to hear is Chuckie Boy say, "hopefully, now the President has learned his lesson" to understand that President Trump lost this one big time. This may have been his, "Read my Lips" moment. I hope he can somehow pull this together in three weeks or declare an Emergency.

Back in 1978 Coach Lynn Ray told us we needed to back off the undergrads when ^%^&* nearly choked to death on loads from blowing the offensive line on the bus coming home from our playoff game against South Warren (Bowling Green).
Our team would be put in jail for the ritual we put people through back in the day.
When I played football for Covington Catholic (Park Hills) in Kentucky we used to make plebes like ^%^&* lick our balls in the shower as a rite of passage. Most of the plebes hated it like hell but guys like ^%^&* pretended to hate it but actually got hard while doing it.
