Yes, it is cerakoted black with a green stock
Very nice! Would you have any pics of it? I’m considering picking one up but am unsure of the green color and the 22” barrel with the threads on the end. Pics would help greatly in my decision. Thanks, Craig

I loaded some up 2.14, 2.145, 2.15, 2.155 to ogive to shoot today. i think the 2.155 to ogive came out to around 2.855 COAL. 143gr ELD-X with 42 & 42.5 gr of H4350, I just picked up some reloader 26 to try also.

Mines looks like it was 5 lb's 7.4 oz's straight out of the box. I think it's around 7lbs with a 20MOA rail, Seekins rings, sling, and S&B PMII.

So the green 22" Creedmoors use a #2 barrel contour? I'm seeing conflicting information.

So the green 22" Creedmoors use a #2 barrel contour? I'm seeing conflicting information. Yes, it's a heavier barrel than the 21". I'll try to compare the two this evening. Edited to add to pics from my phone. 1 is the 21" and the other 22" sporter contour:

Awesome! Thank you. Even if a guy didn't want the threads, it wouldn't be tough to cut and crown, and still have a bit more muzzle heft than the grey 21".

143 grain Horny Precision Hunter. I can’t beat it. $26 a box here. I’ve never reloaded a round this accurate, but it is in a Fieldcraft. I agree 100%. I’m not going to even bother. Mine shoot this factory ammo too good to worry and spend the time to work up a load. I’ve ran across a guy that sold me 20 boxes of 143 eld-x for $20 a box. I’ll buy more if he gets anymore....

Ran a couple more loads out of mine yesterday with some excellent results. Figured out it likes the bullets seated around 2.18 to ogive, got .238 MOA with Barnes TTSX 120 & 42.5 H4350, and .244 MOA with Nosler RDF 140 & 42.5 H4350. Was pretty excited with those results. Still wanting to try the Accubond LR, but don't think i can beat those 2 groups

I shoot moly,most don't.
Alpha is heavy and it takes less propellant,to make like pressure, due the lesser internal volume.
Win/win...................

Here's the groups I got out of my Barrett, that third group that isn't labeled is 4451 with the 143 ELD-X, obviously didn't like that powder But I couldn't be more pleased with those groupings https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/galleries/13375126/barrett-groups-deerAs for the deer, I had been in stand all day and not seen a deer. Was a surprisingly slow day, as my last sit the previous weekend I had a doe parade in the bottom in front of me practically all day. I climbed down my tree at sunset as I'm 100yds back in the woods so I could walk out and check the field. As I'm creeping out to the field, I notice a few deer out there. I slide my climber off my back and crawl out to the edge to get a better look. There are numerous deer out there including the one I shot, first look at him I know I'm going to shoot him. I ease back grab my climber to use as a rest and drag it out to the field edge. I pull my range finder out of my pack attached to my climber and range the buck, 306yds. Get a good rest on top of the climber as its sitting up, take a deep breath and squeeze the trigger. I catch him mule kick in the scope, run about 20 yds and pile up. I see a doe on past him a bit still standing so I rack another in the chamber and squeeze one off on her, I see dirt fly up right under her and she bounds off. So I grab my climber and make the walk out to check out my buck. Was pretty excited as he was a nice buck and I hand't shoot one in a few years. As I'm examining him I take a look around and I notice a very large deer walking right at us. I pull up my rifle and look through the scope and my heart sinks. It's a huge 10 point, that busted me earlier in the year in bow season after being in my stand for 20 minutes and out of no where pops out at 20yds. I can tell he's posturing, walking half side ways all stiff legged. He gets to about 20yds and I yell at him. He stops blows and just walks back to the wood line. Unbelievable.. He's prob a 160 class deer. I'm not sure where he came from, if he was out in the field when I shot the other or not. But lesson learned, I'll examine the field a little better next time.

I ended up going with the 147's, behind RL17 in my Barrett 6.5. Got all the necessary info and sent off for my CDS turret for my VX-5HD 3-15. Got the turret back in 2weeks, pretty quick turn around. Took it out this weekend and went straight to the 1k metal gong 16"x16" went 4/5 on it then went 5/5 on a 6"x6" at 400yds. Was extremely impressed.
