JB Weld was once considered, but when the directions said, "mix equal parts together", the only obvious solution was to have the smith weld the bejeebers out of it.
This thing is a 22 caliber after all. Not some pansy azz 17. Requires a PAST mag plus recoil shield, a merc tube, brake, Limbsaver pad, and sissy bag when firing prone. Or it leaves tiny troll skid marks in the tundra
