I bought a 65 on sale, probably 10 years ago. You know, just to keep the COCK big. I'm underwhelmed. It is tough. It is lockable. It keeps shít cold. Even on sale, its not t worth it. YMMV Yeah but how's the cock doing? Asking for a friend..........

The IMX is lockable, like most,
Here's my question,
why????????????? Bear proofing, bears can get past the latches but they can't get past the lock. Even Yogi couldn't figure it out.

Fess up if you have one. (I don't...yet)
Overpriced yuppie chit?
Redneck status symbol?
Boycott?
I have a plan to strap a cooler on the rear rack of my 4 wheeler. It needs to be an uber stout setup. Thinking a Roadie 20 and a 1" ratchet strap.
Looked on-line at a few other 'heavy-duty' coolers and the Yeti appeared to have the easiest mounting system.
They do however seem kinda gay....
Ghey..... I guess I’m a f a g. Because I haven’t and won’t buy one: RTIC and Igloo are my choice. Yeti f a g s and the stickers they parade around is disgusting.

Doc, you must get vaccines in those thick Styrofoam coolers from the drug companies. We get a few from Reece. If you tape the lid shut they hold well. We do-I have about 40 of them stacked in the back. They're free for the asking!

Yetis are great and do hold ice a long time, but today I got 6 Coleman stainless coolers at a garage sale for $10.00 each... Nice grab, shrap. Whats he need them for? Keep his 22 shells and his Coke Zero cold and dust free? Sheesh! Maybe a deli express turkey and swiss from the Costco gas station.... Idiot! They are stainless steel and plastic, I fill them with money and bury them in the back yard...

"Yeti" to me is like "tactical". I see it and I go deaf, blind and look elsewhere. Found a Yeti cup on the road near my house. I like it... use it in the garage.

I fess Hell I even keep a cat around here. I done caught the dreaded double gay. I told her she's a tri-colored beagle. 1. I cashed out my chips with Cabelas, had the points, kind of like the last 20 seconds on Wheel of Fortune, fuggit gimme the Yeti. 2. I do kind of worry bout it gettin gangked so it only travels in the trunk of the Caddy. 3. It's only called for runs to get Andouille or shrimp or bulk Conocuh. grins [ Kin I have the cat? Wife won't like it, but, hell, she's in Spain for a bit... then Montana, then Oregon. I'll see her again in late September. fait a'complie or whatever. My dogs need excercise, and that's a right pretty cat.

I am sipping a martini in a Yeti "mug" as I type. Watching a multiple run of Coach. Hilarious.

I'm a fan of the ones Shrapnel found.
His six cost about the same as the one I bought many years ago that still gets used.
I may look into a Lifetime one someday, but for now, with the Coleman and a couple of Igloos I'm pretty well set.
SamO, good luck finding what you need. Me, I get by for a day with an El Cheapo one and a frozen 1/2 gallon milk jug of water. Keeps my lunch cold enough for me.

I have one. I also have a Pelican and an Orion cooler too. The Orion is my favorite, the the Pelican, and the Yeti last. Yet coolers are not true to size.

I would love a Yeti, but can't justify the cost.
I picked up two 48qt Coleman marine coolers for $25CAD each at the local Bass Pro. Are they as good as a Yeti? No, but I saved $550CAD over the cost of a 75qt Yeti. They fit under the rack in my truck. I can buy a lot of ice, if required, to get my antelope home from Wyoming (when I go).
I won't cry if the Coleman gets stolen, lost or broken.

I interviewed with them in 2015 for a product development engineering manager position when my wife was in Austin and I was considering moving there. Figured why not switch industries while I was at it, go from medical device engineering - plates, screws, taylor spatial frame, etc. to outdoor stuff. Hell, the recently hired CEO to the company has the same background as me! The recruiter - from a 3rd party head hunter service - totally blew me off as not having any “outdoor brand experience” or some [bleep] like that. Only time in my life that an interview ended with the equivalent of “well [bleep] you too!”. It was surprisingly irritating and refreshing in the same day.
And Hell No, i won’t buy and Yeti [bleep]. RTIC all the way for me

Wife got me one last year. It’s a bit embarrassing.
Nice cooler. Good for standing on. Stupid heavy and surprisingly small inside. Doesn’t hold ice any better than most Colemans etc...

I admit it, I hated to do it, but I wanted my boat laid out just right, and the Tundra 210 was the only cooler on the market with the demensions that optimized my deck plan. No other cooler matches those demensions..do that being said, I think I deserve a pass! [img] https://imgur.com/n6AOUf5[/img]
