If Hillary only allows me possession of one rifle it would have to be my model 70 classic in 264.
Of course a 270 win would work 90% as well and a 270WSM almost as well as the 270 Win.

Of the rifles i have shot or owned none shot as well or as easily as .308 Winchester. Sure are alot of votes for 7x57. Now, if there were only more rifles to choose from to get one.

It seems that Canadians and Alaskans choose the .300's and bigger, while folks form the lower-48 prefer the .270 or so.

My favorite is the 30-06 Improved (35Whelen) You can shoot woodchucks with the 158 gr pistol bullets and moose with the 250 gr. I even have a box of 275 gr Barnes for mastodons if they pass through. whelennut
I like to do my hunting BEFORE I pull the trigger! There is only one kind of dead, but there are many different kinds of wounded.

Biden's most truthful quote ever came during his first press conference, 03/25/21. Drum roll please...... "I don't know, to be clear." and THAT is one promise he's kept!!!
