I want one!

The LCRx 3" in 38 was my first ever wheelgun. I've only had it for a year, but it has become one of my favorite handguns. Now I can add a 357 to the collection. Sweet!

Mine has a Clipdraw, though I do have a Simply Rugged pancake for it.

By the by, it also fits in a Bianchi 5BH for a 2 1/2" K frame

I was looking at the clipdraw. Looks like a no-go for a lefty on the LCRx.

Are you still liking the 357 3 inch?
What holster did you go with?

I have a 357 3" and I like it. I tried using 170 Keith bullets recently and they are too long for the cylinder, I'm disappointed at that, Limited to either the 38 special brass with 170 grain cast bullets it appears, or using 158's. I have a Simply Rugged holster for my 3"ers.
I also talked to Ruger and they say the sales on the 327 Fed are soft and can't say they will produce that in the 3" LCRx.
I told them they were inconsistent in producing the 327 Fed, and that the one they should have focused on is the 3".

Spoke to one of the Ruger VPs a few weeks ago....he said that the only reason that the LCRX3" in 9mm and .327 Federal have not been made yet is that the "Distributor Exclusives" orders have everything backed up.

Another guy I know who works for Ruger said it is basically unlimited overtime right now trying to keep up...

So they are coming...but probably not till next year....

Bob

ps..keep writing and asking for them...they do listen.

I like the revolver, but still haven't picked a holster. Probably end up with something leather IWB.

I'm loading the 170 Keith in 38 Spl, over 5.0gr Unique. Nice load. I think 900-ish fps.
