Where Sam, he out layin pipe? Got home yesterday evening, washed off the black dust and went to bed! (the sleepy kind of bed, no laying of the pipe....) And I live in town, haven't been laid in 6-7 months...

It ain't that hard driving a tractor all day. I've heard driving a tractor too much will do that to ya. Yeah, 8 hours on that big vibrator.... Should be more wimmins signing up to drive them things then. Especially at harvest time in E WA, them folks work from before dawn 'till way after sundown using lights. More like 13-15 hours. Special 'attachment" on the seat pedestal and some gals might be begging for OT and mobile fueling so they don't have to shut down. Geno

Wife's grandparents on her mother's side were farmers. Her grandfather came back to the house about every day for a nooner. The older kids always knew what was going on. My MIL is one of 11 kids.

Nice tractor, Sam! Wish y'all luck at the auction! My brother in law is selling a JD disk plow.. Told him I was needing a disk, so I went and looked. That sumbitch takes way more tractor than I have. Probably 20' batwing style disk. Heavy! My 100 hp tractor would pull it well until I engaged the ground with it!
