HF is a safe haven compared to Walmart. I would use Permethrin and a SCBA if I had to shop at most of them.

I had ordered a convection microwave for Amazon a few weeks ago.... made in China. With modern "just in time" inventory practices no way of knowing how long it had been in the USA before delivery..... I washed my hands a lot after unboxing it....
I read that this virus can live for 9 days on a dry surface....

I went into a Hobo Freight once and made the crack, "Smells like China!" And a guy near me said, "I've been there, and it DOES." n
They think the virus can't live more than a few days outside a host. Since the ocean voyage inside shipping containers is longer than that, the stuff in HF should be safe. But note the "think" and "should."

Well, in the past few days, I've shopped in a Harbor Freight, a Dollar Store, WalMart, a Sportsmans Warehouse, and a golf store - all of which are wall-to-wall with "Made in China" stuff. I have not the slightest qualm about it.

Just don't pop the bubble wrap. Ponder that one for a few. Sealed plastic chambers with air pumped in where it is made. hmmmmm But I thought Sealed Air Corp. was an American Company. Did the Chinese steal air bubble technology?

Some types of similar virus can survive up to 28 days on a surface. Hopefully that does not turn out to be the case with this one.

I hope the virus is not contained in those little blue free flashlights! I've got a dozen or so laying around the house.
