Hello,

I'm looking for a 99 barrel, with square threads, for an action I'm putting back together. Looking for a Savage barrel source?

Thank You

What are you looking for? Caliber? Length? Weight? Model? I've got some and I gotta move so I can lose some.

Finding originals may be a chore, but making one from a barrel blank is not hard to do for any good gunsmith or machinist. The only thing wrong with making one from a new blank is the lack of stamping. For a "shooter' that is not important, and for collectors value, you would need to get the "correct" barrel of the same contour, length, correct sights and all that -----or you are no batter off with one made by Savage then one made by a gunsmith as far as dollar value goes.

Talk to Fireball2 above, before you do anything else.

Fireball,
Thanks or the reply.

I need a flat (square thread) Shank. Wow you have a few 99 barrels.
Can you tell me what calibers you have or are they all the same caliber? The 99 I'm trying to get back in shape was made in 1922, so it would need a UItica address.

Thanks again Fireball,

Dang Roy, I have a 1915, 250 action, that needs a barrel. Can you weld a couple inches back on the skinny end?

I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

The 300 99F barrel is flat thread. You were asking about V thread weren't you? There is a v thread 308 barrel there.

Fireball,

PM me with what you are looking to get for the 1899 22HP 20" inter thread takedown 1911-1919 Utica barrel. I've got one from 1915 whose lands seem to be gone. Look down the barrel and it is smooth.

Thanks,

Blitz

Fireball,
roundtree here.

I was wondering what you want for the .303 22" heavy barrel with flat threads, and Utica address?

Thanks,
