Hmm, if two people agreeing on a transaction results in one of them being charged with a crime, that's not a free market.
You sound like a pimp.

This is too much. That picture, that name, and selling masks at a 700% markup? Was he drinking baby’s blood and screwing with the weather too? No, but when he takes the hat off, you can see the horns......

Market means willing, knowledgable, and not under duress for either side of the transaction.

Price gouging for medically essential items during a dire emergency should bring on harsh penalties. Things like TP and potatoes aren't medical necessities, but medical supplies are and need special protections. Jump up and down and scream Constitution as your mother dies...nope.

So who decides what's ok to profit on and what's not? I don't GAF about hand sanitizer, soap works great and so do gloves. You want the the convenience and (false) sense of security hand sanitizer gives you, then pay for it. Don't want to dilute some bleach and use a spray bottle and rag, prefer a nice handy scented Lysol wipe? Ok,pay for it. Point is, lots of stuff is not essential, simply in high demand by people with very little common sense. If those people are willing to pay big money for the things they think they need, I don't have a problem with people selling it for what the market will bear.

WE have laws against price gouging during a declared emergency.
Maybe there’s an app to translate it to Canadianeze.

FBI also raiding companies or businesses that may have bought fake or non FDA approved CV19 testing kits! Hit a company in Houston and are tracing all shipments that went out.

Price gouging is for commercial businesses and corporations. What an individual owns and wants to sell and at what price is purely up to them. You the consumer also have the same right to not pay for the product at asking price.
