Same components been transferred onto probably 7 or 8 835,s over the last 10 11 12 years. Ported 835,s standard on " newer" ulti mags 835,s are trade bait and easily obtainable.
Rhino .670 custom milled choke Their off the shelf ones are .695,s IIRC Tru glo pro series sights Limbsaver pad 14 oz of sinkers and wally world bags stuffed in buttstock Makes balance little better under ejection port when loaded and carrying, also helps recoil in combo with pad.
Polished and burnished forcing cone and barrel Do that myself, tutorial,s on the web from years ago and old gobbler.com I basically use 4 ot steel and JB paste. Then burnish with 4ot.
Just got done punching and cleaning the barrel. Dont remove barrel during season cause of possible POA/ POI shift from possible differing mag tube cap tension. Have it marked also. Cleaning is important to give each shot the same barrel conditions to throw the best pattern possible consistently.
This was all others up till about 3 years ago Not a single jake Ever....... Add including todays kill 7 other birds over the last 3 yrs for a total of 8 more not in this picture. The last fan was probably about 5 yrs ago I pinned , dried out, and mounted Bigger beards replace them when killed.
I may not eat deer or turkey anymore. But I respect the Game I choose to shoot. The wing bone I made over 10 yrs ago. Dont use it. But I honor it....

Young turkeys taste like reg turkey, more chewy though. 21#, 10.5" beard (blasted bunched in that age class off my northern spot). Had a guy smoke one for me, tasted like a smoked porkchop LOL
Shot a 24# w 13" beard and that thing was bitter. Not edible.
Big oak areas, my main spot and the one down from the house where I shot the 24#.
Both places have ag around, so not all just pines n oaks.

And what the turkeys in their AO eat. Here Rotten acorns filled with grubs during cold weather. Then switch over to scratching for bugs, bugs that hatch, tadpoles, flower buds other soft mast Then repeat. Spring turkey here been eating acorns filled with grubs for 4 to 5 months before their diet switch.
Think of running behind a katusa after a weekend of him drinking soju and eating kimchi and that all in his system. Akin to a turkey eating grub filled acorns all winter and early spring

I can target shoot in my backyard if I wanted too. Just cause I can dont mean I would. Even though people do in city limits. Common to here target shooting all the time. Hunting is allowed in town with distance laws of structure stuff.
We are still rather free in this part of Tennessee.
