Ya’ll need to let this thread die.

I had Kim chi a couple times and it was Ok, then ... THEN someone gave me some with rotten fish (I mean pickeled) it without telling me...

Suprise - Almost up-chucked trying to spit it out ... GAWD awful.

I made this colard green kimchi a few months ago and it's pretty good....

I couldn't find the shrimp/paste so I used some sardines instead.

lived in korea for a year. i could eat the fresh stuff but once it started working i could not stomach it. my one yobo used to pack it in a big glass jar and just leave it in the corner. every meal was a pile of commissary rice and kimchi. cheap and healthy but stanky as hell.
