Please understand that I do not post these quotes to belittle or insult other members.
I do it because I want everyone to recognize how fear driven beliefs become cult like. Notice that none of the believers have apologized, or admitted that they overreacted. They have accepted their new religion as fact, and will defend it to the very end.
These people are dangerous and their opinions should carry no value. They are easily duped and will sacrifice your freedom for their (perceived) safety.
This concludes my Public Service Announcement for the day. However I do reserve the right to dig up more stupidity whenever I am drunk and bored.

No sports on TV......thats pretty extreme.
I see some "mild" social distancing......."casual" social distancing. Not anything extreme.

I think your remote area doesn't offer the visible signs this area shows, I drive to work and the highways are almost empty....

There is no "that should just about do it" aspect to personal protection. If what they have been saying is true about this virus....simply shutting down bars and restaurants and beaches would have had little effect. Our town is DEAD. The town over west is hopping. This global killer was stopped by shutting down a restaurant....but capacity crowds at the pharmacy and grocery store was okay?
