It isn't inexcusable. It's about appreciating what you have. It's about not letting yourself be a victim. It's about not making excuses and blaming everyone else for your hardships. It's about not being exploited at the institutional level by the Liberal political establishment. It's about making a better life for yourself. It's about looking at where you could be and thanking God for the privilege of living in this country. It about not looking at the actions of a few and accusing entire populations of crimes against humanity. I have 3 black friends, all of whom served with me in the military. We correspond all the time. I hold no punches and they know where I stand on things. They are not Uncle Toms. They are not victims and they will never allow themselves to be victims. And they have my complete respect for that. I don't really care what people look like. They can be white, black, brown, green, who cares. If they are stand up people, they take care of themselves, they take control of their own lives, they take ownership of their mistake, and they appreciate the opportunities this country offers, they are okay with me.
