The police had Floyd in a protective hold. He was being immobilized to keep him from injuring himself or the officers. It’s why he was pulled back out of the car to wait for a medical transport.

If the cops would've shackled Mr. Floyd and then backed off to await EMS he probably would still have expired and they would still have been blamed. I just don't foresee a murder conviction. Black folks as a group are always upset about white folks and something like this uprising has been simmering awaiting the least thing to set off a big crime spree under the cover of legitimate protest. From my observation for every white racist there are several whites that pity blacks and want them to do well. I have decided that pity is a form of contempt. The low expectations of Blacks has allowed a culture of defeatism and dependence. Blacks are looked at from many different perspectives as not able to compete in society and sadly many blacks have adopted this attitude. The fact that the unloved Jews, Koreans, Mexicans, Vietnamese, East Indians, and even African black immigrants are successfully integrated into mainstream society has shown that you can ignore discrimination and thrive.
