I've read through all the comments and frankly, if anyone here denies he's had some lascivious though upon then I say he's a f u c k i n g LIAR. As long as one does not act on those thoughts no harm done. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone and I don't see anyone here who can fill that position.

Probably a good argument against men working in a position of authority with minors. Does have the potential for abuse. My grandfather born in 1871 was a teacher (later county superintendent) and married my grandmother (his student) in 1903 right after she graduated from high school. She was born in 1884. My 3X great GF eloped with our 3X great GM in 1806. He was 30, she was 16. We had a nephew in law who is an elementary school teacher (imagine that) whose wife divorced him in part because of his porn fascination. Might be a good idea to leave some jobs dealing with minors to women. But then we still have priests and preachers to deal with.

I was a 25 year old high school teach back in the 70's when "Sex, Drugs & Rock-n-Roll" were at it's height, along with legal drinking age of 18 and bra-less girls.
I had a few that would love to come to my desk, bend over to ask me a question, knowing full well they were showing me everything they had

We had an old Army Cook as a culinary teacher, he was big, gruff and loud, but the kids loved him.

I have been in love with Gloria for almost 30 years. I do believe she still holds me in a special regard too.

In fact despite an almost 20 year age difference if I had been single back then some time after she graduated we prob’ly woulda looked each other up and started a relationship with serious intent, might even have lasted.

As to the handful of others, they were and woulda been easy to turn away even if I had been single. Like I said, I have always figured screwing a teacher was never in the best interest of a student. In this case Gloria is much better off with the guy she married. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My thirty-something son is a Type 2 diabetic cancer survivor, his one Type 2 Uncle is doing pretty good in his fifties, his other uncle was legally blind by 40 and on dialysis by 50. My son, who often rides 60 miles for fun on a road bike, was hospitalized back in April for a week for his first serious diabetes-related infection. Now he has this Borg-looking thing attached to his upper arm that tells his phone his blood sugar.

I have so many years in that every year I am able to work adds significantly to my future retirement, it could be in the future that, if he cannot work, me, him and my granddaughter are gonna need all the income we can get.

Meanwhile I have learned that I have WAY more time in my day without the ‘Fire.
