We have some friends and family that we’re told to GTF our in northern and southern OR. Serious stuff. Lots of tinder and wind don’t mix well.

This fire is now called the North Complex Fire. It started as 3 fires started by lighting. The Sheep fire, Claremont Fire, and the Bear fire. But they burned
together and now are just called North Complex fire. Current size of fire is estimated at 58,000 acres. Yesterday at one time it moved 15 miles in 5 hours.

We're on level 2 evacuation notice. Only problem is, where the hell do you go? Fires to the east, west, north, and south of us. Same story here in the mid valley. Any highway out leading to possible clear air has been closed but the 58. I heard this morning that there may be new fires up there now as well

Well, wife got a report this morning from a guard at a federal facility in Medford that has been monitoring the police scanner. If you can believe what he posted on facebook they have arrested five antifa members for setting fires.
I will need to see verification but that is what was posted.
If this comes out and is true, I wonder how our governor and the mayor of Portland will play it since they let this schit go unchecked for three months and now this has happened. I'm working but will try to post anything we can dig up tonight.

Just got back from dropping off supplies to evacuees at the casino! Heading to get a 4 horse trailer and bring cows to town, and pasture in suburbs. Helping friends has been rewarding this morning!

Just had an update on the Archie Creek fire 13 miles to the north of us. It consumed 72,000 acres of forest land in 12 hours.

Steve, Glad you’re doing ok (so far). Take care, Travis Looking like the nightmare may come true for my BIL in Clackamas County and his home. He made a last trip to the property to gather essential paperwork and set a sprinkler on his roof. He said it was eerie driving in and won’t be going back. His pal at the Sheriffs dept said it’s not looking good for the properties where his home and outbuildings are located in Colton. It’s still windy, temps to reach 95* today and fire fighters can’t work with the dangerous conditions. In the end, it’s just stuff, but when it’s your stuff, it absolutely matters and hurts. Wishing all in a fire evacuation zone the best. 😎
