It sounds to me like they weren't "rumors". Some people saw something, took some pictures, sent them to the officer. Sounds like evidence to me. The coverup is higher than the people getting suspended, obviously.

None of those arrested started "forest fires" from what I can tell. Arson yes, one case burned up a whole lot of houses, but those are still not responsible for the big fires in all three Pacific Coast States.

Woke up this morning and looked at the air quality index. AQI here 377, AQI in Prineville was 457 . Think of standing in the direct flow of smoke of a campfire and not being able to move! Can't see 1/4 mile out the windows.

I was out stacking up the rest of the firewood in the new shed. Not a whole lot of smoke smell in the air here. Just fog (Yeah!). I think it's worse below us in the valley.

Heard from aunt with a place literally "in the woods" east side of Colton adjacent to Port Blakely timberland.
Her little place survived. Power is likely to be out for a couple of weeks. It's been tough on her and the others moving place to place ahead of the orders and air quality. Massive gridlock experienced on Hwy 211 and 213.
Hoping that will be it.
