Every golfer needs to be armed and ready when out on the course. No extra strokes for bagging an elk or deer. Let others play through as you dress them. Turkeys are fair game too.

Elk probably wanted to play through and the golfer was being a dick. Poor etiquette on the golfer's part. The elk will get penalized 2 strokes for goring.
