We haven't had a bad meal yet off it yet. My wife is a bit fussy about some game meats, but she loves this moose.

We cooked a big pile of short rib stew last week. They were awesome!

Hey Guys, all y’all :

If I missed any of ‘youins’ (lol). It wasn’t on purpose.
I’m glad to see hunting seasons are rollin.

My “real” deer hunting starts Sat. but our wx is supposed to warm up. I’m reved up and waiting.

CONGRATS all.

I'm a little late to the party, but here's my moose from Labor Day weekend (opening weekend) this year. I wish I would have taken more time to take better pictures in the field.

I’m pretty confident that if I’d been single when I spent the summer I did in Alaska I’d have never left. Wife to be drug me home with her. Congrats on that moose

I've been to the Yukon twice. It's not Alaska but it's close.

I noticed that most of the non-native folks I met (including my host) where from away. They came to visit, they loved it, they stayed. I tried to be one of those that stayed but it wasn't meant to be. <sigh> God had other plans for my life. smile

Yes, we need some details on that please. That's a hell of a moose.

Bam! Solo hunt, 5 minutes to dark. Best I can do for photos. But I think I am done for the year unless we go to Kansas.[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]
