I’m pretty confident that if I’d been single when I spent the summer I did in Alaska I’d have never left.
I've been to the Yukon twice. It's not Alaska but it's close.
I noticed that most of the non-native folks I met (including my host) where from away. They came to visit, they loved it, they stayed. I tried to be one of those that stayed but it wasn't meant to be. <sigh> God had other plans for my life.
