I didn't know which forum or topic to stick this in, but it is a "success" of sorts I guess, being that it caught something big (170 pounds of pure muscle and testosterone) in 2020.

It was a first for me and luckily I uh...uh...easily pulled out.......of a #5 coil spring set for what I am guessing was wolf and caught me right on the heel. It was set in the middle of a packed snowmachine trail. I've had bird and lion dogs get caught, but never been myself. Critters travel trails like this to conserve energy instead of tromping through 2-3 feet of snow, so I shouldn't be surprised that someone set this right where they did.




I tried resetting it for the guy but figured I didn't need to scent up the area anymore than I already had, and I didn't have any wax paper or other antifreeze on me.
