Virginia and North Carolina are on a similar path to Oregon. In particular Virginia. Virginia is going to be an absolute dumpster fire in another 10 years. The south has been a dumpster fire for decades. Broke dick and livin' on federal handouts. Different problem. It'll be an Oregon / Washington state like dumpster fire in about 10 years.

That is a common question I see asked when any one is on a political discussion and the state I live in comes up. There are more good reasons than I can shake a stick at. If there were a country better than the US, I'd move there. If there were a state better than Oregon, I'd move there. I'm here. Says something. It doesn't matter where you go, there will be tradeoffs. If you get more of this good thing, you get more of that bad thing with it, inseparable. I was born here. This matter is an example of an untrained mind. If you are a good person raising a good family and contributing to the society in which you live that is negated by your living in a blue state. You must support communism and wish to see the end of American values if you don't live in a rural part of a red state. Sounds kind of like the the rantings of a drunk in the bluegrass. Everyone is entitled to freedom of expression, some make this appear to be a bad thing.
