VarmitGuy I’ve been in Oregon 52 years and used to believe that you couldn’t find a better place to live. Since the early 90s this place has suffered from the death of a thousand cuts. I am currently in Idaho in a motel looking for where I’m going to move to and it’ll be very rural. In my wanderings every place I’ve been to the people are telling me that they have talked to piles of people from Oregon doing the same thing as myself.

I am currently in Idaho in a motel looking for where I’m going to move to and it’ll be very rural. In my wanderings every place I’ve been to the people are telling me that they have talked to piles of people from Oregon doing the same thing as myself. Lots and lots of Oregon plates in Idaho this year. I was just in a local martini bar here in ID and 1/2 doz oregon plates in then lot in December. Shame Oregon has some incredible country.

I covered the City of Mpls and Hennepin County for a major fortune 250 company for 4 years, along with the STATE Government in Minnesota, plus the City of St Paul, Ramsey County, ALL Federal Government Accounts in the Twin Cities.. so I have seen it both as a resident and
inside doing business with them....
along with it being one of the most racist cities in the country, if you are a white guy...

California, in my opinion, has the most varied natural beauty of any state in the union. Volcanic wonders. Yosemite. Redwoods. Sequoias. Amazing coastline from top to bottom. Rich farm ground and an amazing Pacific Flyway stopover for waterfowl. Big Sur. Incredible high desert.
Pheasant, quail (all types), chukar, elk, deer, antelope......
But I would not move back there for ANY amount of money. Literally, NO amount of money could convince me to move back to that chithole of a cesspool.
Your morals and ethics and mine may differ.
Tell me more of this incredible antelope, pheasant and chukar hunting in California. Yes I have lived there Not much in the way of pheasant around here, a few near town. Chukar are over on the even dryer side of the county than where I am, and the next county south. Antelope hunting can be good...............IF one can draw a tag.
