Whats the buzz on the Meopta Meopro? They look very basic for the money? Solid dependable scopes. They don’t appeal to the turret twisters. I love em for low light deer hunting. Meopta made the Zeiss conquest line. Meopros / Zeiss conquest / cavelas instinct all assembled in USA. All the same great scopes, just different badging. Some will pay a little more for the name, and in the end that one will sell for a higher dollar amount as well, if you care about resale value. If you don't care about such things, buy the one that says "Cabela's" on the side of it.. ^^^^^^^ This!
Always remember that you are unique, just like everyone else.

Doug:
Is that GPO truly a fixed eye relief scope?

Right now I'd try an Arken just for fun.

I just ordered and received that same scope. I posted an initial review here. It's several threads down. I am curious what you think when you get it.

Giving Doug a call is never the wrong option. What size range are you looking for and what kind of hunting or shooting?

Right now I'd try an Arken just for fun. I snapped up a used EP4 on Facebook this week for a 17HMR trainer I’m building, needed something I could afford to shoot. Pretty excited to put my hands on it. I expect reticle to be garbage for hunting but fine for paper punching. Though, the current Gen 2 SH4’s and upcoming Gen 2 EP4’s supposedly have a much more friendly reticle.

Did Meopta discontinue the Meopro? Yes, however, we are seeing what they have left and will buy it all if we can
