90% make it less than 5 years in real LE and, unfortunately, most of those that are good at what they do move on to positions where they don't deal with the "general" public in random situations every day.

The only thing worse than a liberal is a liberal that thinks they're a conservative.

Have you never accidently walked out of a store without paying for something? I have, just last week - walked out of Lowe's with a pack of drill bits that I had stuck in my back pocket while I was shopping. And I was still able to remember how to get back to my truck.
And yes, I went back in and paid for them.

According to lemming you deserve your ass kicked for concealing the merchandise and probably a couple extra kicks for accidentally walking out with it.

Many dementia patients are what are called "wanderers." My late wife had Alzheimer's dementia and she was a "wanderer." I could walk out of the room to go to the bathroom, come back in two or three minutes and she'd be gone. Scared the hell outta me a number of times. Run outside and that person has disappeared. You have no idea the intense fear that runs through your mind when that happens.

I would not be a bit surprised if that poor woman in Loveland was a "wanderer."

And people who have dementia are NOT rational. Your reality is NOT their reality. Logic is useless trying to deal with dementia patients.

My opinion but it is based on experience.

L.W.

This is quite true.

I’m kinda shocked Walmart security didn’t handle it. Oh wait, they’re too qualified.

The laughing tells me all I need to know. It can be difficult to handle resistant smaller people and elderly with just the right amount of force. When I first read of this, I thought that might be the case. Seeing the video of the arrest, that was one dumb SOB if he couldn't tell he was forcing her shoulder into a grossly unnatural position. The laugh certainly sealed the deal. He has no business being a cop.

I did it. A few years ago during one of the WalMart gun closeout sales. I had gone to WM to use the bathroom and buy some work supplies. As I walked past the gun counter, I saw the crazy prices. I couldn't buy because I was "on duty" and using a government vehicle. I called my best bud to tell him. I walked right past the garden center register with paint pens, sharpies and binders as I was talking to him. When I got to the car I looked at the unbagged items in my hand and had an oh schidt moment. I rushed back in to pay for them.

Arresting people is stupid.

Americans don't want it to happen any more and I for one am happy to oblige them.

There’s good reasons for body cams.

This is one of those.

Yes thank God for body cams.

Now all the people that don't know WTF they're talking about can come to their uninformed decisions more quickly.

My wife got a letter from Kwik Trip the other day.

She usually pays at the pump, but this time she went inside to pay for her gas and purchase some other items. She forgot to pay for the fuel.

The letter was very polite, reminded her that she “forgot” to pay or her gasoline purchase, and “asked” if she wanted to take care of it over the phone or return to the store to pay.

Easy-peasy

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

You would make a good cop. The inflexibility of your mindset and relentlessly staunch defense of cops, irrespective of their mistakes, would find you right at home in the LE profession.

Every day.

Might be the part about the cops reviewing the body cam that’s informative.

Naww.
Just to keep the good folks here mindful of your being a drunkard, hiding behind walls, wearing a diaper on your face and playing with sock puppets.

That is all.

Looking like it might well be for the cops involved.
