I need to buy some, just to taste it, so I can have a frame of reference here. I gotta plead total ignorance on this thang.

I'll get some...to be continued.. My Walmart is not the best place to buy buttermilk. I think they carry an upscale brand and usually only have a few containers of it. I buy mine at one of the local grocery stores. OTOH Walmart Great Value 1/2 & 1/2 for coffee is the absolute best, always very fresh and the price is right.

It's like drinking puke. Silage, isn't that what livestock eat?

I grew up on a dairy farm and my mother and grandmothers churned our butter. That probably made the best buttermilk and it still sucked. Good in homemade ice cream though.

Of course, Roy had both Trigger and Bullet stuffed when they passed. This caused Dale a great deal of concern.

One time when I got real run down I got a mouth full of canker sores, My GP told me to drink a quart of buttermilk a day and they would go away. It didn't work but by the end of the first week I was addicted to buttermilk. I finally went to Austin Diagnostic Clinic and they prescribed some mouthwash with tetracycline in it. The canker sores disappeared in a few days.
