Oakland Alameda County Coliseum.

A buddy and I were huge baseball fans and we'd go to A's games every weekend. Picture a baseball stadium in the ghetto, staffed by ghetto folk, with vendors who couldn't care less about quality of hygiene and a cleaning crew that was far from diligent.

It was a rat's nest with cockroach topping, but I still ate the big dogs at every game. Once, during a playoff game, I dropped my hot dog on the ground and still ate the damn thing. My friend nearly puked, but I was raised to eat whatever was in front of me, and that is what I did.

Some catfish joint in Arkansas. So much grease on everything, I needed to shower when I left. All fried. Everything tasted the same cause it was all fried in the same grease. Disgusting.

Can't remember the name, but a bar in Bangkok Thailand. Bartender went through a door marked "restroom" to bring out 3 mugs.

I worked out of a large construction camp (we housed 50K) and would head to a restaurant in Ras Laffan Quatar that just made incredible food. I have not found better.

Some chithole in New Orleans, but they had a fresh crawfish boil and beer in bottles. You just had to kick a few roaches out of way to sit down at one of dirty tables.

Laffin! We did a renovation on a sushi restaurant. Had to be wrapped up by 10am and couldn’t start til 1am. Nastiest place I’ve been in. Servers station had plates covered in fuzzy mold covered food. If you put your hands down on any kitchen surface it would stick like super glue. Roaches the size of mice scurrying around. Owner was Thai and owned multiple businesses.

Subway in Prosser, Wa off I-82. About schit myself to death in the 240 miles home. Son didn’t get sick since he ate a burger from BK across the street. The rest of us were deathly ill. Most of the Subways have been bought by ragheads and staffed by tweekers. No mas.

Once ate at a catfish joint on a bayou in Louisiana. After a long day of fishing. We were hungry and it was the only place for miles. Looked like a scene out of that movie “Southern Comfort” 😬
