Ok so we have another vote for tyranny over freedom.... as long as the paycheck and pensions keep coming

so you're advising me that as an American loving patriot, I should quit my job, put my family out on the street and wreck our retirement plans - and I should listen to a random guy on the internet at a hunting forum who throws around words like freedom

yea, not going to happen - paint me whatever label you want, until you guys get off the couch and show me you're willing to do something, then you can stop trying to live vicariously thru people on here.

I got off the couch years ago and set myself up so I am not in the position you have suddenly found yourself in..... the funny part is it was as predictable as rain... yet you still don't get it.
Read Dirt's post and read it again..... forest through the tree's sort of thing

that's not enough man, you're level of commitment here - there are real freedom issues going on here. I expect a patriot like you to take all the money you have, sell your posessions and go to Washington DC. Live in a damn tent, protest on the lawn, let Biden know that as an American you aren't going to stand for this [bleep]. Let him know the sacrifices you are willing to make to choose freedom over tyranny. Set that example for the rest of us. Already BTDT, and told them to GFY.. twice. Made way more $$ in less time with my own businesses than I would have staying yoked to those marxists / commies for the rest of my working career. Got several friends that did same.

BTW- do what I want, when I want, where I want, with whom I want. It's a great feeling. Running multiple small businesses does have its headaches. But, it sure beats kissing marxist / commie ass.

Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want.

Rehabilitation is way overrated.

It’s so obvious our own government has had us trained as sheep for decades at the very minimum . It’s hilarious when sheep have emotional outbursts when the truth slaps them in the face .

Listen KWFA, I understand having the mirror held up is an unpleasant experience. But you will become either a cog in the evil machine as it appears you have resigned yourself to or be a patriot.
The irony is the evil machine will use you up and discard you regardless of your servitude.

no, what the mirror is that you expect me to make some huge sacrifice in the name of your perception of what freedom is, while you sit behind the keyboard and your life doesn't change.

you want to prove what patriotism is to me? then don't do it in a 12 pt font on a message board. Go out and make some sacrifices - not something you've already done, not talking about what you did 12 years ago - go out and be the change you expect in me.

Then we can talk about what I am willing and not willing to do in a meaningful dialog.

I'm from Missouri when it comes to defining patriotism.

I have been with this company for forty years. In those years nothing has come anywhere close to the expenses incurred over the last two years.

We know exactly what the cost of our Ins coverage is because every three to five years it is laid out on the table as part of our contracted wage package.

This is in no way comparable to even the worst of "bad flu years".Damn, will you ust

That is exactly what our insurance does. It mitigates the cost of health care 20/80.

How?

I hate to agree with Flave, but hes right(sorta) without explaining.

What current contracts are you working on? FY19? FY20? Not going to pull them. FY21? Debatable, but..probably not going to pull them either. Agencies are scrambling to all get on the same page to meet Bidens goals. Doesnt matter....companies fear losing dollars so theyre folding.

Yes KWFA I anticipated these problems years ago and took real action to insulate myself from them.
Now I can stand up for rugged individualism, freedom and the constitution via this forum... I suspect at times hundreds maybe thousands can read my post and thoughts and I can only hope I am somewhat of an inspiration to fellow freedom minded individuals.
Hard to get sheep to see the light though, even at this late stage of the game

You raise an interesting point.... KWFA likes to talk about sacrifice and how I am not willing to sacrifice for freedom..... he has no clue the sacrifices I have made in life to get to a point where I am as independent as a man can be in our current political climate.... he also has no clue of the risk I took to get here... at times genuine hardship. I lived in a travel trailer for 7 years , through 5 Montana winters.
I remember sitting on the floor in front of the electric heater and breaking ice in the toilet. I worked for free for several years building my business's....
I think my plan was smarter than living in a tent on the capitol lawn and protesting as KWFA suggested I do to prove myself.
Civil disobedience is a thing and millions are participating at great personal expense, I may ad....... 43 million quit working and feeding the beast in August alone, but KWFA is worried about a paycheck and pension.... well ok

I just quit my job yesterday. But, I have to thank Joe Biden - I wouldn't have been looking for a new job if it wasn't for him and the one I found pays twice as much with no mandate. smile
