The oldest told me again last weekend he wasn't going to marry. He's 37, highly educated, has a nice boat, house, plenty of money and my blue eyes. I told him he might get lonley when he ages. We have 3 grown kids and none have ever been married or have had any kids. I can't imagine not being married or having any kids.

One of the things that seems to escape most men is the fact that any healthy (physically and mentally) male with a work ethic will be stalked like a 7 point bull elk during rifle season in an over the counter unit by the female of the species. Women lost (by choice or by circumstance) their place in the world. As a group, they behave similarly to any other group that loses it's culture (think aborigines, native Americans, black Americans, second generation Asian immigrants) -- without the framework a culture provides in the form of rules, expectations, traditions, and rewards, the results are messy. Humans aren't wired to function without cultural norms.
