The truth is none and I mean none of us know the truth.... we can speculate. I made my speculation, others that like to criticize should make theirs and we can have a discussion. Or we can just accuse everyone of being conspiracy theorist and dumbfucks.... that talk adds nothing and in my view is simply virtue signaling.
Agreed. I read your assessment. Thank you for writing it. There's certainly plenty of support for the outcomes you describe. The optimist in me hopes it doesn't come to that. We'd be fools to lose the dollar as the global fiat currency. If the US doesn't start playing a longer game, we run the risk of getting crushed over the long run. Thanks Kingston, writing those things is like making predictions... risky, with no upside....I like to live a little dangerous though.... This has been one of the better discussions. Just remember, Rasputín did not murder so easily.

So Russia doesn’t get to judge for itself the severity of a threat? That’s a power reserved exclusively for us? Existence doesn't equal threat. Or I could say you being alive is a threat to me, and I could end the threat without repercussion. Or Osama bin Laden could have stated America was a threat and we shouldn't have retaliated. Or we could justify going to war with Putin because we judged he's a threat. No, the world doesn't work that way, buttercup. It does by the standards the United States has established.

Shell Oil just announced putting all of their Russian Oil trade profits into a Ukrainian Relief Fund.
Shell has pulled out of their Russian ventures. What a kick in the dick that announcement was. I should have liquidated my position @$57.

Big countries decide what their interests are, act accordingly, and dare someone to do something about it if it hair lips them. That’s what we’ve done forever. It’s what we did with trying to turn Ukraine into a protectorate. Russia decided to do something about it. Don’t blame them a bit.

No one has a right to control something the public needs -gas,food,communications,etc...in such ways that serve entirely their own personal interests. So you're a socialist? On the contrary. You on the other hand are-supporting the idea that a private business has the right to monopolize an entire industry or even an economy. First of all, anti-trust is a socialist construct. Second of all, you've provided no compelling argument that you have a right to others' platform. So, carrying your opinion further, if I own a company that has a patent on a mRNA/DNA therapy product and you use it, I then own your mRNA/DNA based on my private company offering a patented product that you and the public chose to use. Your right to your mRNA/DNA is now no longer valid, I can control them. This scenario can bleed right over into the air waves i.e. wireless platforms/servers. If I own those platform/servers, I can stop you from alerting the public over some kind of false news at my leisure. I would call that censuring free speech. While I may own the platform/server, the air waves my platform/servers are broadcasting on are public domain. . Apples, meet oranges. Its rather obvious you don't know because your reading comprehension sucks. Did you not read what the first amendment states? Also your "example" is bullshit bonkers tinfoil stuff.

For some reason it's hard for some people to step into another persons shoes and even try to understand why they do what they do. I'm pretty sure Sun Tzu said something about knowing yourself and knowing your enemy Personally I think TylerW02 comes across as a bit of libertarian and is applying the Non Aggression Principle. He can correct me if I'm wrong. If so he needs to try thinking like a Russian with a country to secure from threats either now or in the future.

I've thought of it From a Russian perspective, but that doesn't make their actions moral in any sense. By no means is Putin justified. Understanding it is one thing, but condoning it another. But I suppose those that do also support punishing "pre-crime" and would also buy into cutting off your dick because you're equipped to be a rapist.

Someone might have said it was moral, it wasn't me though. TBH I'm not sure where morality comes into it.
From a Russian standpoint it was absolutely justifiable though IMO. Mostly because of an expansionist NATO being right on his doorstep is something Putin already said wasn't going to fly.
I know the MSM is mostly propaganda and I figure the Russians are probably pretty good at themselves so right now I don't know if there is anybody worth rooting for on either side. I'm kind of "Not my circus not my monkeys." right now TBH. I do reserve the right to change my mind in the future.

The same with the pandemic everyone supporting Ukraine has issues. The main one being they don't like their lives. They believe that if they change the world into a poor, corrupt, perverted place where family, marriage and religion are destroyed they will not feel so miserable.

Now the West using Ukraine for a strategic advantage over Russia, yep I can see that

If immoral, how can it be justified? It simply cannot be justified because it IS immoral. An expansionist NATO? NATO, a loose organization of allies that has voluntary membership? And? It makes Pootie angry? Who cares. They didn't do anything to Russia and they didn't threaten Russia. NATO has a right to exist. On the flip side, Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 without retaliation and has been fighting there ever since with a false insurgency.

Hey Tyler care to answer my question about Iraq? Care to stop being a condescending [bleep] that makes snarky statements that I somehow support Biden because I don't support Putin? GFY.
