The Intel folks are most likely getting some good dope on the latest Russian weaponry that was left behind damaged and abandoned.
Much like the Russians and Chinese got looking at ours abandoned in Afghanistan. I don't know how cooperative the Ukraine is with US intel right now on the giving side and Russian tanks and BMPs are pretty well understood. On the other hand the A2AD systems in Belarous and Russia are sure as schitt getting much attention for all our ECM platforms. F-35s are going to be sucking up all the signals and the SAR radars are IDing ground targets for the data bases. I’d only guess that the billions of $ in aid plus the weaponry supplied might make them a little more cooperative but you never know with crazy people.

I’d only guess that the billions of $ in aid plus the weaponry supplied might make them a little more cooperative but you never know with crazy people. Well there is plenty of video of Javs killing tanks and everything else. One would think the Stinger engagements are being documented as well as possible and that is really important data. So you are probably right we are getting a lot of data I just don't think it is from the abandoned equipment vs our gear in engagements.

US intel is estimating approximately 4000 Russian soldiers killed to date according to Newsweek,I believe. We’ll never know the real numbers on either side.

I have seen APC full of men, burned to a crisp inside. When they are sitting on top of vehicle when hit, they are usually just "scattered" over a large area.
