Albeit Macht Frei………. Suckas It's ARBEIT MACHT FREI..."work makes you free". Something which millions of Obama supporters could learn. Historical foot note: In May 1940, Rudolf Höss arrived and became the first commandant of Auschwitz. While overseeing the camp's construction, Höss ordered the creation of a large sign with the phrase "Arbeit Macht Frei."
Prisoners with metalworking skills set to the task and created the 16-foot-long, 90-pound sign.

I’m 52 and I don’t even have a clue where I could buy coal if I had to. I asked my dad who is 84 and the best he could come up with was that when he was a kid there were people who sold coal like they do bulk fuel nowadays.
Granted, we don’t live in a particularly cold area but the daily use of coal as a consumer product is barely within living memory.
I’ve said for a long time that the world was going insane, but this is a stark reminder that it wasn’t an exaggeration. These energy policies are going to collapse things overnight. ask a blacksmith hobbyist I know some of them use coal for their forge. I remember wondering how they bought coal in bulk (granted, probably very little) when I went to a blacksmith group in Dayton a few years back for a demonstration.

A good pairing of some video there. Rare for the media to remember or assemble such.
Many many moons ago a reporter put up some imagery of ladies having a bar fight over a Cabbage Patch doll just before Christmas. Beside it on the screen were skin and bone drought famished Ethiopians standing quietly in line with bowls for a ration of flour and rice.

Europe is literally about to go under. We are actually going to see the collapse of European civilization this winter. People are going to die. They are going to die of cold. They are going to die of civil unrest. And they will die of crime and other violence. I’m sure most of you realize this, but it gets cooooollllld in Europe. And if it’s a cold winter… Yes, EU is in serious, serious trouble & some economies there are likely to collapse. we have a plant in the Czech republic & what's happening to energy costs there is mind boggling. But keep in mind, Team Biden is not trying to help 'Merican's here either; there will be some shortage here, almost for certain. Just not sure yet how severe & widespread it will be, but there will be some. MM

It will be winter here in another month or less, depending on where you live.

Europe is far north but in general because of warm ocean currents, it is a bit warmer than similar latitude here. In North America there is nothing between the arctic and lower latitudes but cold prairie. The North Sea currents are comparatively warmer.
That said, it still gets very cold. And La Niña years generally means colder winters in Europe.

Any luck and it’ll push the more equatorial folks back to their homelands.
