Is creamy horse radish on prime rib steak sauce? No, but I have dreams of eating prime rib and in those dreams my go to sauce will be Ketchup preferably Heinz.- Nugget I hear Trump eats ketchup on his steaks. No joke.

Good stuff though. Mixes up amazing as other marinades, dipping sauces etc….. I’m sure I don’t need to tell you about that.
Red blood and beaver, tastes good.👅
For real. Lol.😉

Don't like prime rib because they don't cook it done. As for steaks if the meat is good to start with with it should not need any sauce. The only reason the sauces were made was to cover up the bad tasting meat back when.

I bought some Johnny’s seasonings after someone posting about them a couple weeks ago here. Tried the steak seasoning tonight on a couple of New York strips and it was mighty good, no sauce was involved.

The only reason the sauces were made was to cover up the bad tasting meat back when. Never understood the need for any kind of sauce on a good steak that’s been cooked properly. Which for me is medium rare, just slightly bloody, with black pepper and garlic on it.

That stuff is mostly fake, chemistry set soy sauce. Start with real soy sauce and make your own marinade if you're going to season steaks that way.

As said, a good steak does not need steak sauce nor syrupy barbecue sauce.
I'll side with a thick steak, medium rare or a bit redder, with coarse black pepper, Johnnie's seasoning salt and maybe a whiff of garlic.

I like it mostly on burgers, wings, smoked meatloaf, pork, and grilled veggies. Since you've tried it exactly never, I'll likely take your post lightly or not at all....no offense.
