After a couple years, when Leica came out with the HD-B, I tried them, thinking the Perger Porro prism would be a better image. After a couple years with the Leica’s, I went back to Swarovski as the image quality of the EL seemed superior. The rangefinder in the Leica was better, but I don’t need 1500+ yard ranging capabilities. All the ballistic data integrated into the binoculars was of no interest to me as I have my scopes with ballistic turrets.

When the Swarovision EL range came out, I got those and the laser seems to be better than the previous version. They continue to work well for me and can even range through the windshield of a truck.

I still have the Leica CRF 2700 for archery along with the Swarovski 8X32 NL pure binoculars, as the full size 10X42 are bigger than I want to have when I bow hunt.

Call me crazy but I've had good luck with the old model Bushnell Fusions. The new ones are probably even better. Hard to beat for $700.

🦫

The first gen of Zeiss Victory LR binos came in 10X56mm and 10X45mm.

Current gen Zeiss Victory LR binos come in 10X54mm and 10X42mm.

Thanks for playin.

My bad! Here’s a few pictures that I could find without pouring over 1000 pics. Sorry, JB, and RagAmuffin. Covid has me a smidge fogged about all the different options of optics I have currently. I wouldn’t wager against me, if I said I have close to $30k in glass alone.

These Bushy kinda suck due to their blue/green glass tint. But they laze good and get used for prairie dog shoots.

I slum a Meopta Big Eye from Cabelas as well a Kowa TSN-553 for packing around.

If you’re gonna measure digks at least post a pic of a tape measure. No, Burns, don’t post up a FatMax model.
