2001 F250 Super Duty Extended Cab diesel 4x4. Bought new in 01 sold it in 21. Before that a 91 Bronco that I kept for 10 years. My new Toyota FourRunner bought new in late 20, might be my last if it lasts like the Fords.

A 1978 Toyota Landcruiser. Still own it, but it's not seeing much use. Just enough to keep the battery up. About 105K miles.

Only take it places where the F350 long bed crew cab won't fit.

In the winter of 1980 my logger BIL bought a Chev 3/4t 4x4 for a boss pickup, drove it for 2 or 3 yrs passed it on to his loader operator who drove it for several yrs, BIL gave it to me, I kept it for a couple yrs as a utility pu, gave it to my son who used it logging for 16 yrs or so, parked now waiting for 4 more yrs when grandson gets it...curious as to how long this can go on. They weren't all that great when they were new.

I got my 2001 model 4x4 Toyota Tundra in 2008 with 15,000 on the odometer. It now has 87,000. It will be in my estate sale if my family doesn't want to keep it. Trucks are so outrageous these days, I'll never have another one similar to it if this one gets destroyed.

Now my wife does have a 2004 Corvette we purchased used in 2008 with only 5251 miles on it and today has a little over 27,000 miles on it, it is her summer car.

We keep our cars a long time

Must be a Virginia thing....

even tho I live in Oregon, I'm from Southwestern VA/Southeast WVa area ( Born in Bluefield)....If I add the mileage of everything, registered and parked on the property, and insured ( used regularly) all combined we have a total of 1 million 410,000 miles approximately on the vehicles my family uses on a regular basis... newest is a 2011 Tacoma.. oldest is an 88 4Runner... last vehicle I bought new in life...still running fine..

Id take anyone of these vehicles cross country and back, with out even worrying about them...

Why buy a new $50,000 vehicle, when what I have are cheaper to insure, over all do well on fuel mileage, are cheap to repair and maintain, especially compared to new vehicles...and the bodies are still in great shape...

1996 Dodge dually with an 8.0l v10.
This June, we'll have it 23 years.
We use it now for the dirty work, instead of our 2002 Ford F350, with Banks powered 7.3l.
