Lea & Perrin's Sloppy Joe's... For 1 1/2 lbs of meat, 1 cup onion (chopped).. 2 celery stalks (chopped).. 1/2 tspn Oregano... For the sauce, 1/2 cup ketchup.. 1/2 cup tomato sauce, 2 TBLspns Worchestershire sauce, 1 TBLspn red wine vinegar, 1 TBLspn packed dark brown sugar.. Mix and set aside... Heat 2 TBLspns of oil, Cook onions & celery over low heat, just until clear, add oregano and set aside covered... Brown ground meat over high heat, remove excess grease (if required)... Add the partially cooked onions & celery & the sauce, sprinkle with fresh ground Blk pepper... simmer 15 or 20 minutes... Multiply everything for larger batches... You will after you try it!...

Manwich Original or Bold. Best there is. No need to venture further.
End of story.

With a Sesame seed bun, some shredded cheddar and some spicy mustard. Easy and good. Some Tater tots for a side.

End of story.

The Bold has twice as much sugar as Original, but otherwise is the same sheit.

My mom has her own recipe that includes mushroom soup and diced dill pickles. Not bad but very unique. However, that's all I knew until I left home and tried Manwich.
She brags on how much everyone loves her sloppy joe. I'm certainly not going to tell her any different.

Wife made that last night using a pound of venison burger. Excellent!
Picked up a good hint a few years ago to sprinkle in a teaspoon of corn starch to thicken it up. Add some good hot sauce and it is a great treat.

Dei Fratelli brand has a very good canned sauce. We use it at a lower amount per pound of burger than suggested.
