Relying on the homicidal yutes to run away at the sight of a gun is foolish at best. Nobody here said they were. I do sometimes wonder how a few of the posters here function in a modern society where reading comprehension is kind of important.

While you are watching these videos notice, if you will, whenever the good guy opens up with whatever he has, they scatter like scared rabbits. This ^ ^ ^, I very deliberately stared at them... Mean mug them. 😉 And this... 'Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.’

As soon as the bad guy(s) see a firearm in the hands of an intended victim, they change their plans and a violent incident is prevented. A very poor attempt at gaslighting. Or maybe you and your boyfriend are just drooling idiots.

So many people want to hurt me I carry an Apache helicopter. At least it is self-propelled, unlike my Gatling gun.

The only reliable criminal reform is a lead injection.
There have been a few incidents around here lately that convinced me I needed to carry an AR15 with me, but the urgency for that seems to dwindle in a few days every time. I have a sneaking suspicion that it will all change before too long and keeping an AR15 within reach at all times will seem like an essential survival tactic. America keeps veering towards the South Africa/Zimbabwe model of daily life: whites are on the menu for genocide. We will have to upgrade our EDC sidearms in the near future. According to several studies on the matter over the past 25 or so years, the majority of defensive gun uses never involve a shot being fired.
As soon as the bad guy(s) see a firearm in the hands of an intended victim (or, in many cases, they perceive a firearm about to be drawn), they change their plans and a violent incident is prevented.
Doesn't matter if it's a Colt .25 or a Super Redhawk .454. They don't want to be shot by anything. All I can say is twice I had to pull a gun on 'dudes" in atlanta... once while at an ATM and another time when they did not like me catching them breaking into a car... both times, as soon as they got to close, I drew and they took off running before I could get a good sight picture on them... If I had shot they would have been shot in the back and that would not have been good for me I am sure... I tend to agree a lot of times (not all for sure) they hit the road when they know you are not an easy target and they do not have an advantage.
The worst thing ever to happen to cops is the personal video recorder... Now people can see the truth

I finished pumping and left. That’s what I always do. Or tell her I’ve got to get up early to get her to leave.
