Nobody here said they were.

I do sometimes wonder how a few of the posters here function in a modern society where reading comprehension is kind of important.

Yup. I let them know I was aware of them, their approach was not welcomed, and I meant business.

Worked out well for everyone involved. Best possible outcome.

A very poor attempt at gaslighting. Or maybe you and your boyfriend are just drooling idiots.

FREAK THEM OUT !!

Never seen an innocent young man on his way to Bible study that could stay close to a snake. YMMV

I'm pretty sure in some churches holding snakes is highly encouraged.

America keeps veering towards the South Africa/Zimbabwe model of daily life: whites are on the menu for genocide. We will have to upgrade our EDC sidearms in the near future.

Doesn't matter if it's a Colt .25 or a Super Redhawk .454. They don't want to be shot by anything.

All I can say is twice I had to pull a gun on 'dudes" in atlanta... once while at an ATM and another time when they did not like me catching them breaking into a car... both times, as soon as they got to close, I drew and they took off running before I could get a good sight picture on them... If I had shot they would have been shot in the back and that would not have been good for me I am sure... I tend to agree a lot of times (not all for sure) they hit the road when they know you are not an easy target and they do not have an advantage.
