Was brought up strict Christian, woke up a number of years ago with the realization that the powers that be many centuries ago put it into play as a control mechanism for the populist and it's worked ever since. Spiritual but no religion for me.

It is sad to hear all the stories about people who grew up going to church and stopped going. I hope that changes for you.

For a change, I have to agree. I'm a Christian. I was baptized Methodist, raised Presbyterian. I accepted Christ into my life as an adult. I've certainly had excursions into other ways, but eventually, I found my way back.

One of the things I believe is that America is the New Jerusalem. God inspired the Founders. He gave us the chance to build the City of God. For better or worse, this is how it is.

If you ask me if I'm more a Christian or a Patriot, I'd be hard-pressed to answer. All I know is that God gave us this land and it is up to us to keep it the way he intended. For the rest of it, God knows what is in my heart. I trust him to decide.
