I went to church for the first time since my wife died. She truly believed in the after life and if anybody should waltz through the Pearly Gates she should.

Was brought up strict Christian, woke up a number of years ago with the realization that the powers that be many centuries ago put it into play as a control mechanism for the populist and it's worked ever since. Spiritual but no religion for me.

For a change, I have to agree. I'm a Christian. I was baptized Methodist, raised Presbyterian. I accepted Christ into my life as an adult. I've certainly had excursions into other ways, but eventually, I found my way back.
